Default Borla Stinger Catbacks vs no Stingers

Why is the Borla Catbacks (no stingers) more expensive than the Borla Stinger Catbacks? Shouldn't the Stingers cost more? The way I see it, the Stingers are the Catbacks PLUS MORE! So, I don't get the difference in price . I've been Googling and searching a ton of other forums, all they say is the Stingers are louder, but no reason as to why they're cheaper. Btw, I'm not gonna buy them from Borla.com directly. Another question, it says that I'll be getting tip #36 on Borla.com. Which tip is that? Is it rolled, or flat? Also, I read somewhere that the tip might like the exhaust, with the tip around it? I don't know how to explain it, but most new import cars such as the Scion tCs, if you've noticed, it's the exhaust tip all the way through, but at the VERY end, there's a tip on TOP of the tip. If I can find a picture, I'll post it. So:

1) Price difference between the two Borla models.
2) Which tips will I get, and what size are they? I also heard I can change them to something called "Phantom Tips," comments?

Thanks!

[EDIT]

Apparently Jegs.com says the Stingers come with rolled angle cut tips, and the non-Stingers come with round angle cut phantom tips, whereas SummitRacing.com says they both come with rolled tips, what gives!

LOL wow we are going to have to bullits in the club that are exactly the same except for the one will be k/b and the other vortech... LOL sorry just seeing a pattern with "Bullit owners" lol.

anyhow... the stingers are less expensive due to them being louder... as in less material is needed to create the muffler(more like a resonator). The stingers are basically like a xr-1 sportsman race muffler... if i remember right the stinger mufflers should be a round tube... and the normal system should be one of the actual mufflers. The tip is going to be the single rolled angle cut... now even though its not at a huge angle... reguardless they still call it the angle cut. maybe ca_bullitman can take pics of him tips for you.

Well, I was just comparing all my possibilities and the Stingers just made my day.

2004 ProCharged Borla Stinger Catbacks Mustang
2001 Vortech-powered Bassani Catbacks Bullitt (my friend's car)

I used those two videos to compare, and the 2004 GT sounded so much better. The Bullitt sounds sick, especially in person, don't get my wrong, but I also wanted to be a little different. Everybody gets Bassani or SLP (for loudless,) and I just wanted Borlas .

[EDIT]

Btw, how big are the tips again?

Yeah, definitely Stingers. I wasn't debating on which to get, it was just trippin' me out because the quieter one was more expensive! The Stingers DEFINATELY sound better. I personally think 4" is a bit too big, is there any way to get the tips smaller, and how big is the tubing right before the tips?
